Walk through the Old Town to the Powder Tower – sitting down or skating in the Rieger park, and finish the evening with a romantic 5-course dinner with a beautiful view of Prague at night accompanied by live music.

Old Town Square Powder Tower

Prague's most historical and beautiful square is just a 5-minute walk from Hotel Leon D'Oro and 8 minutes from Charles Bridge Palace. The astronomical clock is more than 600 years old, features a moving procession of apostles that appears every hour.

The Powder Gate is the monumental entrance to the Old Town. Its name is a reference to its original purpose, when the tower was used as a storage for powder magazine. Also the so-called Royal Route started here. Which was the historic route through the center of Prague for the future Czech kings, which started at the Powder Gate and ended with their coronation at Prague Castle.

Rieger Gardens

Riegrovy sady is one of Prague's most popular parks. At its top is a restaurant with outdoor seating, which has been enjoyed by the people of Prague since 1933. It offers a unique view of Prague Castle and Mala Strana, and in the winter months you can skate on the outdoor ice rink overlooking Hradčany, the complex of the Prague’s castle, with its surrounding buildings. Skates can be rented on site.

Žižkov Tower

The Žižkov Tower is not only the tallest building in Prague, but also the highest observation platform in the Czech Republic at 216 meters. However, it is not only a unique view of Prague that awaits you here, but also the OBLACA restaurant, which offers top-class gastronomy along with just the most romantic scenery, right from your dinning table.
