In the 17th century, Prague was home to over 7,000 Jews. Persecution, fires, and looting in Josefov were virtually regular events throughout the centuries. During your visit the Jewish Quarter, don’t forget about the Jewish museum, the old Jewish cemetery, or one of its six synagogues.
